We need your help!
Motorcycle Racing at this level – in fact any level is an expensive game, as a great motorcycle racer said it's not as if you only have to buy a football and practice, you have to spend a lot of money and if you want to do well a serious amount of money. We have run on the most minimalistic budgets known to man purely out of a complete addiction and desire to succeed in the best sport in world - oh yes it's way better than formula one!
We are not unaccustomed to running on practically zero budget, for example (and although we're not proud to say) we have in the past used other racers 'cast off' tyres, used 2nd hand pistons and even ran with a set of cracked crank cases just to be out there, on the grid and racing. But in this sport at British championship level if your equipments not up to scratch then you might as well be banging your head against a brick wall (believe us we know).
In 2008 we ran an 06 bike - in club level this would be fine but at British Supersport you need the latest equipment but we don't have the funds, we're prepared to race the same bike a again in 09 and we know it will be tough (although we kind of like being the underdog). Ideally a new race bike would be great, our current bike is really good, don't get us wrong, in fact in many places last season it was near the top of the speed charts, and Jenny managed to qualify it in provisional 3rd place on the grid at the 7th round of the British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park, in front of some top names including, Steve Plater, John Mcguinness and even the eventual championship winner Glen Richards. And she has also won races on it ....at Club Level, but British Supersport is a whole different ball game.
We, at present at least, can't afford a new bike so making this one the best it can be is the aim, it would be better if we could afford to put new parts on it, new tyres every time we went out and run it on the best most expensive race fuel (last year we ran it on the cheapest) and that’s where we need your help.
There's no doubting Jenny's ability - her results speak for themselves - or her desire to succeed but she can't race let alone achieve her goals without sponsorship.
How can you help and what’s on offer for you?
We have compiled a list of expenses to run a full season in the British Supersport Championship, in an ideal world to have all these expenses covered would be fantastic, but we know that’s a hard task and a compromise has to be met, so we have an 'ideal' budget and a minimal budget, one with a new race bike included and one without, one with a full tyre allocation and one with a minimum tyre allocation etc etc.
Rather than list everything on here we would prefer it if you could contact Jenny directly as it's much simpler and easier. Sponsorship is up to you, you could cover a specific cost for example tyres for the season or just one set of tyres for one round, the amount is entirely up to you and we are extremely grateful for any help we receive no matter how large or small!
We have a full Power Point Presentation document containing all the information, including a list of costs, British Championship crowd and TV viewing figures and more.. available at your request.
What we'll do for you!
This depends upon your level of sponsorship and what you want from your sponsorship, you may wish to remain anonymous or would like to promote your company or even just yourself and have your logo or name on everything, the bike, leathers, race transporter, posters, this website etc..there is lots on offer, including race passes, team clothing, hostpitaliy and more, so if you would like to sponsor Jenny please contact her, she can then discuss with you any thing you need to know, how much a seasons racing costs and what we can do for you in return to meet your needs.
Thank you for taking time to read this and if you would like to sponsor Jenny or find out more information please email Jenny -
